If you’ve made a Magic Square Talisman and you want to focus it’s power on yourself, you need some way to attune the talisman to you. The Jewish Kabbala has a method that works well with modern day Numerology Talismans; we can create a sigil of your name.
Sigil – A Graph for your Name
A Sigil is a graphic representation of your name in conjunction with a Magic Square. It’s created by first taking your name, and translating each letter into it’s number equivalent by finding it’s place in the alphabet, and then reducing the total by fadic addition. Let’s look at an example.
Actor Johnny Depp’s first name can be converted to it’s numerical equivalent in the following steps.

(J) = (10th letter) = (10) = (1)
(O) = (15th letter) = (15) = (1 + 5) = (6)
(H) = (8th letter) = (8)
(N) = (14th letter) = (14) = (1 + 4) = (5)
(Y) = (25th letter) = (2 + 5) = (7)

(Johnny) = (1 – 6 – 8 – 5 – 5 – 7)
Next, lets look at a Square of Jupiter, a Magic Square talisman which gives power, prestige, and improves leadership skills. I’ve placed one below.
( 4 )( 14 )( 15 )( 1 )

( 9 )( 7 )( 6 )( 12 )
( 5 )( 11 )( 10 )( 8 )
( 16 )( 2 )( 3 )( 13 )
Drawing the Sigil
To draw Johnny Depp’s sigil, we would first make a small circle in the ‘1’ square at the upper right hand corner of the magic square. This represents the ‘J’ at the beginning of his name. Next, we would draw a diagonal line from the ‘1’ and circle around the inside of the ‘6’ so that we can then proceed towards the number ‘8’.
The result we want is a continuous line drawn from the previous letter’s number around the number of the current letter, and then proceeding towards the number of the following letter. Try to picture laying out a string or thread to go around the numbers like pegs in a pegboard.
When we come to a sequence where (2) consecutive letters have the same number value, such as the two (5) numbers for the double ‘N’ in Johnny, we draw a little half circle making a stopping point like a cursive small ‘I’ to denote that the line has (2) points here.
Finally, when we come to the last letter’s number, we end the line, and cross the end with a small bar, like a capital ‘T’. This marks the endpoint in our Sigil.
Summary
Now, you have a method of graphically signing your name to a Magic Square. The Kabbalah teaches that you can use a sigil by itself, without the actual square used to construct it as a magical representation of someone in the area of life associated with the planet of that square. A sort of similarity magic where both the target person, and the area we want to affect are wrapped up in the same symbol.
